Location: New York NY 10011
Type: Contract
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 312-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $58$60/hr
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Oncologyfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients throughout their treatment plans.
Monitor patient status administer medications and manage treatment-related side effects.
Collaborate closely with physicians pharmacists and interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols symptom management and post-care instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and oncology unit standards.
Follow all infection control safety and regulatory guidelines.
Offer compassionate support and advocacy for patients and families during all stages of care.
Requirements:
Active New York RN license (in good standing).
Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred.
