Position Overview

A School Social Worker is needed to support students within a specialized educational environment. The role consists of approximately 35 hours per week delivering socialemotional services and supporting students with varied communication and cognitive needs.

Responsibilities

Provide social work services to students with diverse emotional behavioral and developmental needs.
Support both verbal and non-verbal students including those with cognitive impacts.
Conduct assessments and participate in individualized education planning.
Collaborate with teachers related service providers and families.
Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed.

Requirements

Active Illinois Social Worker (IL SW) license.
PEL (Professional Educator License) required.
In-person interview required (no virtual interviews).
