Job Summary
AWS DevOps Engineer - Up to 700 per day
Fully Remote in EU
9 month contract
Our client is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team on a 9-month contract basis. This role requires a high level of technical expertise proactivity and a collaborative mindset. Working as part of a cross-functional Agile team you will help design build and optimise Cloud-native solutions on AWS to support rapid application delivery and platform stability. This position is open to candidates residing anywhere within the European Union.
- Strong focus on AWS public cloud environments.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab Jenkins or AWS-native solutions.
- Expert-level skills in automation and scripting (Python Bash or similar).
- Experience designing secure scalable and highly available AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting solutions (CloudWatch Datadog or similar).
- Knowledgeable in containerisation and orchestration (Docker ECS EKS or Kubernetes is a plus).
- Confident working within Agile delivery teams and using collaboration tools such as JIRA.
- Exposure to serverless AWS architectures (Lambda functions API Gateway DynamoDB).
