Job Summary
Position Title:
Grant Consultant / Grant Specialist
Location: Phoenix AZ
The Grant Specialist will provide mid-level comprehensive management and financial oversight of grant awards. This role involves managing awarded grant projects ensuring accurate financial reimbursements under State and Federal grant programs and assisting Emergency Management staff and applicants in developing grant applications for federal and state funding opportunities.
Position Details- Type: Staff Augmentation
- Hours: 40 per week (Day Shift)
- Duration: 6 months from start date
- Projected Start Date: December 15 2025
- Location: On-site at 5636 E McDowell Road Phoenix AZ 85008
- Travel: Not required
- Security: Background check and drug screening required (HireRight)
- Local Candidates Only: Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date and start within 2 weeks of offer.
- Conversion: Candidates must be eligible for full-time employment; no visa sponsorship available.
- Manage awarded grant projects and financial reimbursements under State and Federal programs.
- Provide oversight of grant compliance and reporting requirements.
- Assist in developing and submitting grant applications for federal and state funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with Emergency Management staff and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate grant administration.
- 5 years of experience in financial operations (billing auditing expenses invoicing).
- Proven experience working with grants (administration compliance reporting).
- Experience with compliance checks.
- Strong professional communication skills.
