Job Title: Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer
Location: Cupertino CA (Onsite)
Job Description:
Perform 3D electromagnetic (EM) electrostatic and magnetostatic simulations for various components (motors sensors inductors transformers busbars etc.) using tools such as ANSYS Maxwell Q3D or COMSOL Multiphysics.
Analyze and extract key parameters such as inductance capacitance resistance eddy current loss hysteresis loss and field distribution.
Good Understanding of capacitive system dielectric behavior Extraction of Mutual capacitance Matrix for a system
Support design optimization for improved electromagnetic performance
Develop simulation methodologies and parametric models to streamline analysis workflows
Correlation of simulation results with measurement
Prepare detailed technical reports documentation and presentations for internal and client reviews.
Good understanding of material properties such as magnetic steels ferrites copper aluminum and dielectrics.
Strong analytical thinking problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualification:
Education: Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering Applied Physics or a related field
