Valet Oxnard VDC

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic automotive knowledge valid Drivers License for any US State. This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb. driving pulling kneeling reaching standing twisting walking climbing pushing squatting hearing reading writing and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise. Responsibilities 1. Driving the flow of vehicles through the VDC processes 2. Operating carwash 3. Operating Fuel Pumps 4. First Point of Rest FPOR- Battery Voltage Check 5. Assist in Basic Facility maintenance as needed 6. Cross training of increased skill levels in VDC IT systems as necessary 7. Vehicle operation in a controlled yard environment 8. Manual Transmission Operation Oxnard does drive within the Port grounds AND on about 2 miles of city street then within the BMW VDC grounds. Oxnard prefers people being able to drive a stick/manual. Its not a deal-breaker anymore since fewer cars are manuals these days. There is the occasional BMW manual and a little more often with the practice if someone doesnt prefer to handle the manual we can accommodate/we have others who can. Training on-site is not a preferred option as it is rare to have a demo type manual/stick car for a period of time to do so.
