Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Maple Grove MN55369
Facility: North Memorial Health
Shift: Days 8 hour shift
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start date: 12/1/2025

Pay Rate: $28/hr on W2

Job Requirements:

Local Candidate - Preferred
2 Years of Experience in a clinical setting - Required
BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
Experience with Epic - Required
All Patient Population Experience - Required
Experience with taking vitals immunizations EKGs medications/refills rooming and procedure assists - Required
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by a recognized accrediting organization (i.e. ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program Required
OR Graduate of a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program accredited by a national health services organization (i.e. American Medical Technologists) with on the job experience and passing the RMA Certification exam.

Job Responsibilities:-

The Medical Assistant will perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic. Tasks include standard rooming processes giving immunizations injections and other medications as directed by the provider; and performing laboratory specimen collection as needed. Dependent upon the specialty and clinic location the Medical Assistant also may:
provide telephone support
facilitate communication between customers and providers
assist with prescription refills
perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam
perform phlebotomy duties
perform clinic laboratory tests

The Medical Assistant also may provide support to the clinic:
front desk/check-in support
ordering and stocking supplies
assistance with prior authorizations
