Advanced Embedded Software Test Engineer – Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems

This is a hybrid role 3 days in office 2 from home.

You will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywells leadership position. You will be

responsible for performing verification and validation for highly complex software functions being involved in the complete software Verification and Validation life cycle including test planning software testing system testing and certification. • Perform Verification and Validation for new product development.
• Support software testing on legacy airborne surveillance products.
• Software Testing; Integration testing; Certification; Customer Support
• Coding in multiple languages using analytical & software development skills

• University degree in computer engineering Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 5 years experience in embedded software verification or development

We value:

• Knowledge of Input/Output processing for A429 AFDX and Ethernet interfaces
• Avionics software verification and development processes knowledge certifications and DO-178 design assurance guidelines exposure
• Strong comprehension of requirement-based software verification methods
• Working experience in handling Debuggers/Emulators
• Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS or Atlassian tools Agile development processes SOC and Multi-core processors

• Effective communication approach with wide degree of creativity and latitude
