Job Summary
Network Technician - Microsoft Entra ID
Need South Carolina Residents Only - Contract - Columbia SC (Onsite)
Need South Carolina Residents Only - Contract - Columbia SC (Onsite)
Required:
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and general Microsoft administration
- 5 years of experience managing and supporting Windows Server environments
- 10 years of strong troubleshooting experience in networking (wired and wireless)
- 5 years of experience responding to help desk requests via a ticketing system
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication documentation and customer service skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Deskpro or similar ticketing systems
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory DNS and Group Policy
- Knowledge of Ruckus/Brocade network switches and general network infrastructure
Specific Skills:
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) configuration and management
- Windows Server installation patching and performance tuning
- Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN Wi-Fi VLAN DHCP DNS)
- User account management permissions and access controls
- System and network monitoring incident response and escalation handling
- Documentation of technical processes network diagrams and system configurations
- Collaboration with IT teams to implement infrastructure upgrades and security best practices
- Familiarity with ITSM tools help desk operations and customer support workflows
