At Manulife IT Delivery Center we arelooking for a rock starSenior Front End Software Engineer (Salesforce) who is excited to see the successfulimplementationof the products they deliver. You will haveexperience in designing developing testing maintaining and improving software applications as a member of an Agile squad.
Position Responsibilities:
Refactor existing code to improve reliabilityperformance and maintainability. Research evaluate and prototype emergingtechnologies
Conduct a Proof of Technology toinnovate andincorporate new technology
Have opportunities to mentor intern students and associate engineers
Collaborate closely with Product Ownersand other stakeholders in an Agile environment
Work closely with othersquadsto drive innovative solutions to meet business needs
Work closely with software engineers to establish best practices for development testing and delivery
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years as Salesforce Developer experience
Clear insight of Salesforce platform best practices coding design guidelines and Salesforce Governor Limits
Expertise in SFDC core concepts including Objects fields relationships record types etc.
Expertise in declarative Salesforce features:Workflow Process Builder Approval Process Validation Rules etc.
Expertise in Apex programming language including classes triggers and controllers.
Expertise Visualforce Page Aura LWCSOQL and SOSL; Frontend and Backend technologies such asHTML CSS3 jQuery XML JSON..
Expertise in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST SOAP Bulk API).
Experience in Agile scrum methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team
Proficiency in Git or other version control system
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Experience inin Lightning Components:Aura and LWC
Knowledge inFortify and WebInspect
