Quality Assurance Inspector
Pay Rate: $19$22/hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 1st Shift 6:00 AM2:00 PM

Our client is a leading aerospace and metal finishing company specializing in plating anodizing and precision surface treatments for aerospace and defense customers.
The Quality Assurance Inspector performs receiving in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet aerospace and customer specifications. This position supports production by identifying defects verifying documentation and maintaining accurate inspection records.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers calipers and gauges.
Inspect parts before and after chemical processing (anodize chem film plating etc.).
Verify part counts job travelers and customer paperwork.
Identify surface defects such as pitting corrosion scratches or handling damage.
Document inspection results and complete required logs.
Assist with first article inspections and internal audits.
Collaborate with production leads to resolve quality issues.
Maintain a clean and safe inspection area.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year of inspection experience in aerospace metal finishing or manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read basic blueprints and follow customer specifications.
Familiarity with AS9100 or NADCAP environments is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and documentation.
Must pass background check and drug screen.
