Job Summary
Marsden South has an immediate opening for a Janitorial - Supervisor who has Floor Care experience for our client located in Ocoee 34761 . Join an essential company to service the buildings and facilities in your community. Learn new practical skills and gain experience with on-the-job training.
Skills:
- Able to perform the duties of supervised staff
- Completes regular quality inspections of assigned client
- Ensures all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long term retention.
- Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with ones own safe behavior
- Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism
- Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made
- Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team
- Collaborative style with strong influencing skills
- Previous experience of cleaning procedures and practices
- Good time management
- Proficient written and verbal English communication
- Strong employee and client focus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Experienced with stocking and replenishing Supplies
- Requires following safety policies and procedures at all times (such as locking doors using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
- 6 months to 1 year performing Floor Care related work e.g. waxing stripping and buffing floors

- Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs.
- Must have excellent attendance.
- Must be able to start training immediately.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- 18 years of age or older
- A pre-employment criminal background check is required
- Previous Lead/Supervisor experience in Janitorial Role preferred
Details:
Shift: 2nd shift - 4pm to 12:30am
Days: Sunday to Thursday
Total weekly hours: 35
Pay: $17.00
