Union Hospital is seeking a part-time Patient Escort Ito transport patients to appropriate hospital areas via stretcher wheelchair beds and specialized vehicles to/from patient care and clinical service areas as directed by dispatchers or schedulers.

The hours for this position are 7:00am-3:30pm; and requires working every other weekend and a holiday rotation.

*Please note this position is part-time working 32 hours weekly*

What Youll Do:

As a Patient Escort youll play a vital role in patient care by:

• Safely transporting patients via wheelchair stretcher or bed to various hospital departments.

• Assisting clinical staff with patient transfers.

• Supporting the maintenance and readiness of transport equipment.

• Upholding safety standards and ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.

What Were Looking For:

• High school diploma preferred.

• Prior customer service experience (2 years preferred).

• Ability to obtain BLS certification upon hire.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude.

• Physical ability to walk and stand for long periods and handle equipment safely.
