Job Summary
We areseekinga highly motivated and reliable Retail/Deli Associate to join our team. This is a multifaceted role that requires a positive attitude a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and contributeinvarious areas of the store. As a staff member you willbe responsible forproviding excellent customer servicemaintainingstore cleanliness stocking shelvesoperatingthe cash register andassistingin our deli with sandwich preparation and other food-related foster a supportive work environment in which everyone helps out where needed therefore a flexible can-do attitude is essential.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitudeassistthem with their purchases answer questions and resolve any issues efficiently and professionally.
Operatethe cash register accurately handle cash and credit card transactions andmaintaina balanced drawer.
Stock shelves and displays with products ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
Prepare sandwiches salads and otherdeliitems according to established recipes and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized deli area.
Maintainthe overall cleanliness of the store including sweeping mopping cleaning restrooms and emptying trash.
Assistwith various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the store such as receiving and unpacking deliveries organizing inventory andmaintaininga safe and orderly environment.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Be willing toassistin any area of the store as needed.
Requirements:
Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Basic math and cash handling skills.
Food handling experience is a plus but notrequired.
Job Type:Full Time or Part Time positions Hours: 8:30 am-5:30 pm
