About the Role

A leading commercial landscaping company is seeking an experienced Landscape Mechanic to join their McHenry IL branch.

This position is responsible for servicing repairing and maintaining a wide range of equipment from small engines and trucks to trailers and snow gear. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented safety-focused and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly year-round.

What Youll Do

Service and repair small landscape equipment (mowers trimmers blowers etc.).
Maintain and troubleshoot trucks trailers and snow equipment (plows salt spreaders etc.).
Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
Handle basic repairs on hydraulics electrical systems and welding as needed.
Ensure all tools vehicles and shop areas are kept safe clean and organized.
Support operations by ensuring minimal downtime for field equipment.

What Youll Bring

Prior experience as a mechanic or technician working on small engines trucks trailers or heavy equipment.
Basic knowledge of hydraulics electrical systems and welding (a plus).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and reliability.
Valid drivers license required; CDL preferred.
A proactive hardworking attitude and ability to work independently.
