Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy ABAP Cloud solutions leveragingS/4 ABAP Cloudfor WRICEF objects.
- Clean Core Backend Development with latest Syntax
- Integrates S/4HANA with external systems via APIs and events. (AEM)
- Builds in-app extensions using RAP and BAdIs.
- Works on forms custom reports enhancements and CDS views.
- Participate ingreenfield implementations from requirement gathering through to go-live and support.
- Provide hands-on support for existing systems ensuring stability scalability and performance.
- Collaborate withonshore and offshore teams fostering seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions in different time zones.
- Participate in code reviews unit testing and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across back-end and integration layers.
- Stay up to date with emerging SAP technologies and recommend best practices to the team.
- Deliver high-quality code and documentation in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- S/4 HANA development experience
- SAP certification in S/4HANA or BTP.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of Order to Cash(OTC) or MAKE processes.
Required Qualifications
- Core ABAP:Proficient of ABAP language including object-oriented concepts.
- ABAP Cloud & RAP:Experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) including behavior definitions and metadata extensions.
- Service and API Development:Ability to create and extend ABAP RESTful services and APIs for integration.
- SAP HANA:Skills in using Core Data Services (CDS views) and other HANA-specific features like AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
- Data Modeling:Understanding of data structures and how to model them especially with CDS views.
- Integration:Hands-on experience of integrating with both SAP and non-SAP systems including RESTful / SOAP APIs/OData.
- Modern UIs:Familiarity with building OData services for modern UIs like SAP Fiori.
- Version Control:Proficiency with modern version control systems especially Git and SAPs CTS.
- Clean-Core Development:Adherence to principles that maintain the stability of SAPs core system and allow for smooth upgrades.
- ADT tools: Eclipse or equivalent.
- Ensures compliance with SAPs clean core guidelines.
- Proven experience as aABAP Cloud Developerwith hands-on expertise inSAP ABAP.
- Experience ingreenfield implementations.
- Ability to workindependentlywith minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working withdistributed teams(onshore/offshore).
- Proficiency in modern development frameworks tools syntax and methodologies.
- Must be a strong team player.
- Must have a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to listen understand and facilitate process improvements.
- Minimum 4years of experience in SAP S/4HANA application development using RAP model.
