Ready to take the wheel and steer your career in the right direction Marvin is looking for a Local (Yard) Driver/DC Loader to join our team! In this role youll transport trailers on our facility property. Youll also help loading dock associates with loading and unloading trucks.

Highlights of your role
- Relocate and transport trailers on facility property as required to stage trailers for loading and unloading to meet required receiving production and shipping goals.
- Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.
- Load Trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner ensuring all products are scanned properly to the truck department data is accurately recorded and paperwork is completed thoroughly.
- Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.
- Maintains all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations.
Enjoy a comfortable schedule:
- Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:00 pm;Pay: $25 per hour; Overtime required as needed.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Valid Class-A drivers license (CDL). Minimum 1-year CDL driving experience.
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Also want to make sure you have
- Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
- Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role.
- Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.
