Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Fitter/Welder to join a fabrication shop in Tulsa. The Structural Fitter/Welder in this role will be responsible for fitting aligning and welding structural components according to blueprints drawings and fabrication standards. Candidates must bring strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fit and align structural steel components per blueprints and shop drawings
Perform MIG and Flux Core welding using approved procedures
Use tape measures squares levels and layout tools to prepare and assemble parts
Interpret blueprints weld symbols and fabrication specifications
Ensure work meets quality dimensional and safety standards
Operate hand tools grinders cutting torches and fabrication equipment
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Work effectively with fabricators welders and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

23 years of Structural Fitter/Welder experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Strong proficiency in MIG and Flux Core processes
Ability to fit square layout and align steel components
Must be able to lift 50 lbs stand for long periods and work in a shop environment
Must be safety-conscious reliable and able to work independently
