Role Overview

As a Functional Analyst for Mobile App Development you will play a central role in shaping the direction and delivery of the new mobile platform. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders UX/UI teams and development squads ensuring the successful translation of business needs into functional solutions.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end functional processfrom requirements gathering and analysis through design support sprint planning and delivery oversightall within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders and end users.
  

• Translate business needs into clear structured functional specifications user stories and acceptance criteria.
  

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to ensure user-centered design and seamless user journeys.
  

• Work hand-in-hand with mobile development teams to clarify requirements and support implementation.
  

• Manage and refine the product roadmap ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
  

• Support sprint planning backlog prioritisation and day-to-day Agile/Scrum activities as a key contributor.
  

• Perform functional validations and support testing activities (UAT exploratory testing).
  

• Act as a subject-matter expert for the mobile product throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Ensure documentation is complete clear and up to date.
  

• Facilitate communication across departments to maintain shared understanding and alignment.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst Business Analyst or similar role in digital or mobile projects.
  

• Masters degree or equivalent professional background.
  

• Proven end-to-end project experience: from requirements gathering through design implementation and delivery.
  

• Solid understanding of mobile app development (iOS Android APIs and app architecture is a plus).
  

• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Ability to translate business needs into actionable specifications.
  

• Fluent/native Dutch or French and strong English language skills.
  

• A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude.
