Position Summary:
To enhance student participation and engagement in Growth of Consciousness (GoC) programs by combining digital communications outreach and personalized follow-up.
This role supports online and on-campus initiatives through clear communication professional presentation and warm personal connection ensuring each participant feels informed inspired and supported in their consciousness-growth journey
Key Responsibilities
Participant Engagement & Outreach
- Send personalized follow-up messages to students after online Tune-Ups andretreats.
- Conduct brief weekly check-ins with 35 students to offer encouragement or guidance.
- Maintain an up-to-date outreach list in Microsoft Excel tracking participation and next steps.
Digital Communications
- Draft design and schedule MIU Appposts promoting Tune-Ups retreats and departmental updates.
- Create simple visually appealing graphics and event banners using Microsoft Designeror Canva for Education.
- Maintain accurate listings of GoC events and activities across MIU communication platforms.
Event Support & Tracking
- Track online RSVPs and attendance through Microsoft Formsresponses or Zoomreports.
- Collect short participant comments and summarise feedback themes for departmental review.
- Assist with setup greeting and registration for the in-person GoC retreats.
Reporting & Data
- Log post-view numbers RSVP totals and attendance trends.
- Provide a brief monthly summary of engagement metrics to the Director.
Team Coordination
- Participate in a short weekly meeting with the Director to share progress and student insights.
- Collaborate with other GoC team members including retreats coordination staff and fellow FWS students.
Supervision
- Reports directly to the Director of Growth of Consciousness.
- Regular guidance and feedback will be provided through weekly check-ins.
- Training and mentorship are offered to ensure alignment with departmental goals and MIUs Consciousness-Based Education mission.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop professional communication design and data-management skills using Microsoft 365 tools.
- Gain experience in community engagement program coordination and consciousness-based leadership.
- Learn how effective communication supports student growth and participation.
- Strengthen collaboration reliability and organizational awareness in a university setting.
Qualification
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft 365 (Outlook Teams Excel Word Forms).
- Interest in meditation personal development and Consciousness-Based Education.
- Reliability professionalism and sensitivity to confidential information.
Evaluation
- Performance will be reviewed periodically based on the following criteria:
- Reliability and timely completion of tasks.
- Accuracy and professionalism in communications and reports.
