Evaluation Services - Project Engineer

Intertek is searching for aProject Engineer to join our Evaluation Servicesteam in our Coquitlam BCoffice. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the Code Compliance field! The Project Engineer is responsible formanaging certification projects.

What youll do:

• Conduct comprehensive research on North American building codes and applicable product standards.

• Develop detailed test plans and evaluation protocols based on research findings

• Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.

• Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.

• Collaborate closely with sales laboratory and technical teams to support seamless project execution.

• Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion ensuring quality accuracy and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.

• Participate actively in industry committees standards development activities and technical association meetings.

What it takes to be in this role:

• Bachelors degree in Applied Science (preferably Materials or Civil Engineering)

• Preferred previous experience in the role but not a must

• Valid drivers license

• Be able to travel within Canada and USA
