In this role you will be a Field Service Engineer for a client that works in the equipment manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for doing on-site and remote troubleshooting for automated equipment.

This is a direct hire role that requires 25% travel and on-site work.

Job Requirements:

3 years of capital equipment or automated machinery maintenance and trouble shooting
Must be able to use measuring devices laser levels hand tools and multi meters
Excellent written and verbal communication
Desire to have excellent customer service and retention
Ability to diagnose technical problems and provide customers with resolutions remotely
Diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to perform wiring of machine components
Navigate HMI
Ability to work with VFDs
Ability to troubleshoot and repair Servo Motion Control Systems
Ability to complete on-site customer machine installations and set up
Strong knowledge of electrical voltage single and three phase
Knowledge of PLC programming
Must have a valid passport or ability to get one
