Job Summary
The Medical Assistant works alongside and assists Providers in the treatment of patients preparing and documenting information for the patients visit including obtaining vitals medical history and other pertinent information from the patient. This position performs routine Clinic Office functions including paperwork phones and authorizations as needed.
Minimum Education
Required Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is Required
Required Skills:
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient with data entry and medical terminology
- 1-2 years prior clinic experience preferred
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Required License/Certifications:
- Credentialed Medical Assistant (Certified or Registered) is preferred
- BLS certification required or obtained during first week of hire
