Pay Rate: $25 DOE ($2.00 Shift Differential after 4pm)
Location: Edmond OK
Hours: 1:30pm-10:00pm
Days: Monday-Friday * weekends and extended hours depending on the needs of the business
APMEX is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for the installation repairs and operational maintenance of all equipment associated with our minting facility. The position will likely include a portion of facilities maintenance while focusing primarily on the machines that drive our business forward. Essential Functions
- Operate and perform maintenance on machinery to meet safety throughput and quality standards
- Document all maintenance and repairs
- Accountable for monitor spare parts inventory
- Adhere to power equipment safety practices programs and protocols
- Assist with other non-maintenance duties as necessary
- Participate in physical inventory counts as necessary

Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years as an equipment technician or similar position
Computer Skills:
- Basic use of Microsoft Office and teams preferred
- AutoCAD a plusbut not required
Certificates & Licenses:
- Any technical certificates or electricians license are preferred but not required
Other beneficial qualifications:
- Mechanical repair and servicing skills familiarization with power presses a plus
- Electrical and /or electronics repair troubleshooting and servicing skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to operate standard machine tools (mill lathe surface grinder etc.)
- Knowledge of LOTO and other EHS practices
- Knowledge of safe workplace practices in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of forklift operation and safety a plus
- Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
