We have an opportunity for aGraduate/ R&D Engineer (m/f/d)to join our team in Ratingen. Youll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solutions that enhance the safety of our customers operations in the field of fire alarm technology. You will engage in cutting-edge research and development projects that drive innovation and technological advancements. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and scientists contributing to the development of new products and solutions that address real-world challenges.

This role is fully onsite and part of our University Relations program designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience mentorship and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

Tasks:

  • Development and optimization of innovative hardware solutions for modern file alarm systems
  • Work closely with firmware and IA tams to integrate intelligent sensing
  • New and further development of sensor technologies in fire alarm technology
  • Support in the system architecture and selection of suitable hardware components
  • Participation in interdisciplinary development projects in the field of fire protection technology

Profile:

  • Degree in electrical engineering communications engineering or comparable field
  • Experience in embedded hardware development and circuit design
  • Strong ability to work in a team when cooperating with software development
  • Ideally experience with sensor technology EMC compliant design and AI related hardware integration
  • English B2-C2 German B2-C2
