Location: Oswego NY 13126
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Shift: Day MondayFriday 8:00 AM4:30 PM
Pay: $44$46/hr
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (Phone Triage)for an exciting job in Oswego NY.
Responsibilities:
Conduct phone triage assess symptoms document concerns and provide guidance per protocols.
Determine urgency of patient needs and route calls appropriately to providers or care team members.
Provide patient education on medications test results follow-up care and home instructions.
Collaborate with providers and staff to support continuity of care.
Assist with occasional rooming or injections as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EHR and ensure compliance with privacy standards.
Manage patient calls/messages within required timeframes following clinic protocols.
Demonstrate professionalism empathy and sound clinical decision-making.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
Active RN license in New York State.
BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (primary care or ambulatory preferred).
Previous phone triage or call center nursing experience strongly preferred.
Required: Meditech EHR experience.
Preferred: Familiarity with Epic Guiding Care eCW Vitera Medent eCares or similar systems.
Strong communication organization and multitasking skills.
