WHAT YOULL DO
As a Data Scientist youll design develop and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning models that power real business outcomes. Youll work cross-functionally with Data Engineers Product Owners and AI Specialists to turn data into insight and insight into action.
In this role you will:
- Solve real-world problems using large and complex datasets identify business opportunities build predictive models and deliver actionable insights.
- Write clean efficient code (Python PySpark SQL etc.) to acquire manipulate and analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Develop test and deploy machine learning and statistical models tailored to specific business challenges.
- Apply generative AI techniques to extract value from unstructured data and optimize analytical workflows.
- Implement models in production by collaborating with Software Developers Data Engineers and ML Engineers.
- Communicate complex technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to our AI roadmap and help evolve our model deployment and MLOps practices.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or related field.
- PhD in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Must be able to work in the United States
Experience
- 6 years of professional experience developing and deploying Data Science solutions.
- Proven experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to solve business problems.
- Ideally coming from a consulting environment (not required nice to have)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python and core data science libraries (pandas NumPy scikit-learn PyTorch TensorFlow).
- Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent) for data extraction transformation and performance optimization.
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and model lifecycle tools such as MLflow Azure Machine Learning or Databricks.
- Deep understanding of cloud data ecosystems (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with REST APIs Git-based version control CI/CD practices and debugging methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with the Azure AI ecosystem Azure AI Foundry Azure Machine Learning Databricks Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Search Copilot Studio and Azure Functions or Logic Apps.
- Background in Azure DevOps microservices and unit testing.
