Street Sweeper

The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Street Sweeper is responsible for cleaning the citys streets and parking areas following an approved schedule. The person in this position will be self-supervised for the most part as they will set the route and time frame for cleaning. An individual in this position will also perform a variety of tasks in the Drainage Department. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role as are high levels of accuracy timeliness and dependability.

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Valid Texas Class B Drivers License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement. Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Texas Drivers License within twelve (12) months of employment.
• One (1) year of experience operating heavy equipment or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities for this position.
• Employee must have traffic flagger and work zone safety certificates or ability to obtain these certificates within twelve (12) months of employment.
• Completed TYMCO Sweeper Maintenance Training(or be able to obtain within twelve (12) months of employment).

Compensation: Hourly range is $19.10/hr. - $27.84/hr.
