Position Responsibilities

The New Car Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in the continued growth of our sales department with responsibilities including:

  • Working closely with employees and customers to enhance the sales process and drive department performance

  • Building rapport and maintaining long-term customer relationships to foster repeat and referral business

  • Training coaching and supporting the sales team to maximize productivity and closing ratios

  • Managing daily operations of the new car sales department

  • Desking deals monitoring gross logs and processing RDRs

  • Ensuring compliance with dealership policies manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

  • Previous automotive sales experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication leadership and customer service skills

  • Strong understanding of inventory control and dealership sales operations

  • Proficiency with computers CRM systems internet applications and MS Outlook

  • Professional appearance strong work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced goal-driven environment

  • Valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
