About The Opportunity

Join our Parks and Natural Areas team and help maintain and enhance the beauty and functionality of Bundabergs parks gardens cemeteries reserves and streetscapes. As a Plant Operator/Labourer youll play a hands-on role in creating safe vibrant outdoor spaces for our community. From operating machinery to horticultural care your work will directly support the health and enjoyment of our public environments.

About You

  • Were looking for someone who:

  • Has extensive experience in horticulture landscaping and parks maintenance.
  • Holds a current Class C Drivers Licence and Construction Industry Safety Induction.
  • Can operate and maintain a range of plant and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Works well in a team and communicates clearly and respectfully.
  • Is committed to safety reliability and contributing to community wellbeing.

Mandatory:

  • Construction industry General Safety induction card
  • Drivers Licence ClassC (SpecialVehicle endorsement - ClassUD& Class MRor HRis desirable).

Desirable:

  • Certificate ll or higher in a Horticultural related field
  • Chainsaw Ticket and Herbicide Operator Ticket (AC/DC)
