Job Summary
Pay Range: $21.30-$25.10 per year
Purpose of Position:
Daily data entry and reconciliation of parts counter tally sheets and ranch house cards. Weekly completion of efficiency report for processing department. Weekly preparation of plant overhead spending reports. Weekly preparation of can weight report. Agri Stat data reporting. Daily and weekly preparation and reconciliation of plant production reports including finished production WIP inventory rack inventory incoming and outgoing intercompany WIP transfers from multiple plants incoming intercompany rack transfers from multiple plants condemned product production mix file. Weekly preparation and analysis of packaging and weigh/price departments efficiency report. Weekly tracking of energy and water usage. Preparation of miscellaneous journal entries at period end. Periodic BOM reviews.
Essential Job Functions:
- Daily and weekly preparation and reconciliation of plant production reports including finished production WIP inventory rack inventory intercompany WIP transfers intercompany rack transfers condemned product production mix file rotisserie line adjustments. Daily data entry and reconciliation and analysis of parts counter tally ports. Highlighting and researching of any line items in the detail that are out of the norm.
- Weekly tracking and analysis of plant water (incoming and effluent) electricity and natural gas usage and rate variances versus budget.
- Preparation of miscellaneous journal entries at period end.
- Periodic finished product BOM reviews.
Additional Functions:
- Special projects as assigned.
- Work on ranch house cards USDA condemn reports and other related reports.
- Preparation and analysis of weekly plant efficiency and downtime reports for processing packaging and weigh/price departments.
- Weekly preparation and analysis of plant overhead spending.
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- High School diploma some college level accounting classes preferred.
- One-two years of accounting experience.
- Ability to work within strict time frames in order to meet deadlines and be able to work independently with a high degree of organization and prioritization skills for a high volume of work.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy (strong Excel SAP and MTech) and have ten-key by touch.
- Must be self-motivated resourceful and well-organized and detail oriented with a strong analytical ability.
