The Global Payroll Analyst interacts with: Payroll Analyst People Operations Coordinator Senior Advisor - People Relations Accountant Financial Controller Managers and Team Leaders.
The primary responsibility of the Global Payroll Analyst will be the day-to-day administration of the Bulgarian payroll. Sitting within the global outsourced payroll function the role offers scope for supporting payrolls across AMER APAC & EMEA. The role covers management of payroll production data gathering validation and transfer to providers along with validation of payroll outputs to ensure the accuracy of the companys payrolls. Acting as a point of contact for internal and external partners the role requires a highly professional individual with a keen eye for detail who can analyse and present data clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing the monthly payroll in Bulgaria working within a team delivering non-UK payrolls across multiple countries processed by outsourced payroll partners covering 1500 employees with expected future growth in existing and new territories.
- Working with teams across the organization such as People Services Reward Finance to ensure correct and timely processing of the monthly payroll cycle.
- Monitor and coach team member on regular basis to ensure payroll accuracy and personal development.
- Extracting pre-payroll reports and ensure all relevant information is compiled and validated before transferring to outsourced payroll partners.
- Responding to payroll queries and resolve complex payroll cases in a timely and efficient manner.
- Working with Finance team to ensure the required funds are transferred and the salary payments are executed on time.
- Supporting Finance teams with month end payroll reports.
- Assisting with year-end tax reporting.
- Supporting ad hoc payroll data requests and auditing.
- Working on global and local level projects.
- Keep up to date with changes to payroll and compliance regulations.
- Act as Subject matter expert on the time & attendance tracking system (Hermes).
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing on a Global scale as well as Bulgaria.
- Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian labour legislation and best practices.
- Fluent English and Bulgarian.
- Intermediate level Excel skills (complex formulas vlookups pivot tables).
- Experience of Oracle HR and Payroll systems or similar systems is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a payroll role.
- Experience with summarized calculation of working time payrolls is considered an advantage.
- Experience with working on outsourced payroll processing is a plus.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good problem solving and data analytical skills with high attention to details.
- Strong at organizing/prioritising tasks and managing time effectively.
- Strong communication and written skills.
