As our Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) Coordinator you will bring this mission to life by leading a dedicated team that empowers individuals and families to strengthen their financial well-being. Through coaching education and meaningful connections youll help members access tools resources and opportunities that support long-term financial stability and success.
This position combines staff leadership program coordination and direct financial coaching. Youll collaborate with CMCA Coaches and community partners to ensure every member receives holistic person-centered support that fosters growth and resilience.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday
Lead and Develop Staff: Train and mentor FOC and SkillUP Coaches ensuring consistent high-quality support for members.
Empower Members: Provide individualized financial coaching to help members manage budgets build credit and develop actionable financial goals.
Drive Program Success: Monitor program outcomes ensure data accuracy in Salesforce and promote continuous improvement to meet performance goals.
Facilitate Financial Education: Design and deliver engaging workshops on budgeting saving banking and credit-building topics.
Foster Community Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with local banks employers and community agencies to expand opportunities for members.
Advance the Whole Family Approach: Collaborate across CMCA programs to align financial employment and family goals that strengthen household stability.
Promote Awareness: Support outreach and marketing efforts that increase visibility and participation in CMCAs Financial Opportunity Center programs.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience in financial coaching counseling banking lending or asset-building preferred.
Leadership or project management experience is a plus.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Commitment to equity inclusion and serving individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed accurate documentation.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar data systems preferred.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the CMCA service area.
