In business since 1997 Air Technology Laboratories Inc is an environmental laboratory specializing in air and vapor analysis. Our samples arrive from a wide range of sources such as underground plumes indoor air landfill gas and ambient air. Our experienced staff offer reliable technical assistance in compliance with both routine and non-routine site investigations and remediation. We are a small group of 10 and we offer flexible working hours PTO competitive salary bonuses 401K plan and insurance benefits including health dental and vision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will involve the analysis of samples including scheduling data reduction and reporting of air samples utilizing primarily GC (gas chromatography) techniques in accordance with applicable EPA ASTM and AQMD methods as well as company written procedures.
Other duties will include assistance in sample receipt/log-in project management support and assorted duties as assigned.
Please note that about 60% of this persons time will be in lab and 40% will be in sample receiving.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry or a related field
- 1 year of professional experience working in a laboratory
- Strong Laboratory Skills and proficiency with Laboratory Equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift carry push and/or pull upwards of 35 lbs on a frequent basis
