Purpose
This position must have a functional knowledge of DEA regulations that pertain to USDO operations. Support processing controlled drug orders including the use of DEA 222 order forms and must meet DEA compliance requirements. Must develop an understanding of regulations pertaining to ARCOS reporting and be able to verify and correct monthly ARCOS reports. Will support export shipments and must have or gain working knowledge of US Customs regulations and importing and exporting shipments. Support USDO goals and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform all responsibilities of DEA office coordinator position prioritize responsibilities and work under general supervision.
- Enter inbound receipts of schedule III-V product and generate DEA 222 order forms and enter inbound receipts of Schedule II product.
- Monitor backordered product and manage the release and shipment once the product becomes available.
- Verify and monitor Customer DEA 222 forms for order entry.
- Create DEA 222 order forms enter orders into SAP and create stock transfer orders.
- Handle third party shipments.
- Prepare proforma and commercial invoices for export shipments.
- Participate in year-end ARCOS reporting and biennial inventory by correcting verification and entering corrections on ARCOS reports.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
- 1-2 years DEA experience.
- Customs import export experience preferred.
- SAP (S4 HANA EWM WM) knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to pass security checks and background check to attain CDA status and gain access to CCSF area.
- Working well as a member of a team is a necessity as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required over one extended shift.
- Must be able to multi-task and have close attention to detail.
