We are seeking a seasoned Claims Insurance Business Operations Senior Manager to lead large-scale life and wealth insurance operations within a dynamic growth-oriented environment. This position oversees end-to-end business operations and process improvement initiatives ensuring service excellence efficiency and compliance across multiple teams.
Lead and manage day-to-day operations focused on efficiency quality and compliance across multiple functional teams.
Supervise and mentor a multi-operational team of 200 employees including managers senior analysts and analysts.
Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of long-term operational strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and improve customer experience.
Analyze operational data KPIs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all teams meet or exceed established performance targets SLAs and quality standards.
Participate in budget planning forecasting and resource allocation to support operational objectives.
Prepare and present regular reports on process performance efficiencies and strategic initiatives.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
12 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry including at least 3 years in a similar leadership role.
Proven experience in insurance business process operations and transaction management.
Strong proficiency in business process management optimization and performance improvement.
Experience working with 23 or more life insurance companies or TPA/BPO service providers.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and deliver operational excellence in high-volume environments.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
Advanced degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Six Sigma PMP) strongly preferred.
Proven experience driving digital transformation and process automation within insurance operations.
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. CST
Travel: Occasional (approximately once per month within the U.S.)
