Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School conducted in the Lasallian tradition with an enrolment of 2300 students boys Years 7 to 10 co-educational in Years 11 and 12. PDHPE/ Health and Movement Science Teacher

Permanent Full-Time position

Commencing January 2026

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to deliver excellence across PDHPE and Health and Movement Science (HMS) syllabuses.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in delivering Year 11 Health and Movement Science is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience Teaching Stage 6 PDHPE.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Ability to teach PDHPE/HMS across Stages 4-6;

Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies;

Assessing providing feedback and reporting on student learning;

Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred however not essential;

Working collaboratively in a PDHPE Faculty;

Ability to implement new syllabi;

Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment;

Using effective pedagogies a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive

resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes;

Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.
