Production Planner
Location: Provo UT
Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Build daily and weekly production plans that align with customer demand plant capacity and material availability
- Adjust and revise schedules as priorities shift managing changes in demand downtime or supply chain constraints
- Communicate schedules clearly to production teams and work with them to improve efficiency and minimize changeovers
- Monitor raw material and packaging levels with the procurement team to flag shortages and avoid delays
- Track production planning KPIs and report key metrics to the scheduling manager
- Participate in daily operations meetings and help solve bottlenecks that slow output or compromise efficiency
- Assist with coverage or long-term planning efforts as a backup scheduler when needed
- Maintain alignment with food safety quality and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience will be strongly considered
- 35 years of experience in production planning scheduling or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs pivot tables formulas etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems is required
- Able to juggle shifting priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Clear communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and informed
- 100% in person role
