RESPONSIBILITES:
- Lead the development of program plans ensure cost and schedule integration and estimate at completion management on critical new and large complex programs across multiple sites.
- Lead development of cost and schedule baselines.
- Prepare and publish metrics and reports.
- Analyze variances and review compliance to corporate guidelines across multiple teams.
- Lead strategic cross functional initiatives supported in PCO.
- Request mentoring and leadership skills for development of team members.
- Maintain project cost and schedule tools used by project managers to accurately measure forecast and track project-related work.
- Take lead in producing and maintaining project schedules and associated deliverables and progress S curves.
- Single point of interface between internal and external stakeholders on project metrics cost risk/contingency management progress/productivity measurements cashflow etc.
- Ensure the accuracy of earned value data and process compliance on assigned project portfolio.
- Work with Project Managers to produce accurate cost estimates for change orders and maintains the change log.
- Works with Business Management (Program Managers Directors and Finance management) to report both project and program forecasts and risks mitigation actions.
- Initiate accurate and timely project invoicing to associated customers.
- Manage the unbilled receivable and payable balances on assigned projects.
- Contribute and oversee coordination of monthly project status reports to customers.
- Actively participate in project review meetings and provide clear accurate project assessments & gives proactive advice to drive successful project completion.
- Track and analyze project threats and opportunities develop project contingency budgets and maintains run down curves for cost risk assessment.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE:
- Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Science Engineering Finance Accounting or related field and 8 years of experience with Project Controls in Mechanical Chemicals Petrochemicals Oil & Gas Automation or Electronics industries.
- Prior experience in leading large complex EPF project controls scope in above mentioned industries.
- Full term of experience must include: experience with Cost Control Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum) and Time Management; experience with Project Life Cycles; understanding of Project SOX (US GAAP Principles) controls and compliance; and transformation mindset to embrace and improve new systems implementation.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
