Part-Time Janitorial (Kalihi)

Join our team as apart-timeJanitorialat a building in Kalihi. This position involves constant walking standing moving good communication skills and a strong customer service aptitude. While previous experience in janitorial housekeeping or related fields is beneficial we are willing to provide training. Applicants must be capable of performing basic manual labor including pressing pushing pulling and lifting at least 15 to 20 lbs. Candidates should also be prepared to routinely bend squat and stretch during their shifts and maintain a fast pace while walking. Applicants must successfully pass a background check.

Part-Time Janitorial

Kalihi - Honolulu HI 96819

Key Responsibilities:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to stand for three hours continuously

Must be able to understand speak and converse in English

Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility

Clean sweep dust mop interior and exterior floors clean glass doors/mirrors disinfect surfaces that are being touched frequently empty trash and replacing liners

Restroom cleaning and restock supplies

Kitchen cleaning: cleaning the fridge freezer microwave table and chairs

Clean the parking lot

Clean and wipe down all tables and chairs

Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas

Lift trash from bins bend and navigate staircases

Push trash bins as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm to 6:30pm (15 hours per week)

Compensation:$16.50/per hour

Skills/Qualifications:

Must pass background check

High school diploma/GED preferred

Previous janitorial custodian experience or related experience is preferred and willing to train.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English

Must have good public relations skills and communication

Applicants must perform basic manual labor clean common areas frequently press lift push pull carry a minimum of 15lbs (up to 20lbs) be able to reach overhead grasp objects bend kneel crawl squat climb stretch walk stair and ladder climbing and stand throughout their shifts.
