The Role:

As Direct Medics proudly marks its 25th anniversary we are pleased to announce a strategic expansion initiative. Our company is currently experiencing a significant growth period and as part of this exciting journey we are enhancing our specialised Medical recruitment team.

To spearhead this development we are actively seeking to appoint a diligent and established Recruitment Consultant with a proven track record within the Healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence playing a pivotal role in driving our business forward. This expansion reflects our long-term commitment to being a market leader in healthcare recruitment and ensuring we continue to provide an exceptional service to our clients and candidates for the next 25 years and beyond.

Core Responsibilities

  • Client Partnership & Strategy:

    • Build and nurture lasting partnerships with new and existing clients.
    • Conduct in-depth consultations to understand business needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
    • Proactively manage accounts conducting regular service reviews to ensure satisfaction and forecast future talent requirements.
    • Implement multi-channel sourcing strategies (e.g. social media job boards networking referrals) to build a high-quality talent pipeline.
    • Efficiently screen and qualify applications to identify top-tier candidates.
    • Conduct comprehensive interviews to rigorously assess candidate suitability skills and cultural fit.

  • End-to-End Recruitment Management:

    • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle from initial job brief consultation to offer and placement.
    • Serve as the central liaison coordinating all interview logistics between clients and candidates.
    • Provide expert guidance and timely feedback to all parties ensuring a seamless and positive process.
    • Manage offer negotiations and support the pre-boarding process to secure successful hires.

  • Market Intelligence & Consultation:

    • Stay informed on current industry trends salary benchmarks and labour market conditions.
    • Analyse competitor activity to identify strategic business development opportunities.
    • Act as a trusted advisor providing clients with actionable market insights and hiring recommendations.

  • Data Integrity & Compliance:

    • Meticulously maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities within the company CRM.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on key recruitment metrics to the management team.
    • Ensure all processes adhere to relevant employment laws and company policies.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years Experience in an agency setting internal recruitment or RPO setting especially within the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude towards challenges.
