SAFETY SENSTIVE POSITION

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. overtime as needed including callouts nights and weekends.

Job Summary: Maintenance and construction of facilities used to store dry and mill rice products in addition to grounds preparation and concrete construction. Successful applications should be aware of construction site safety rules and able to contribute to a team-based work environment. Responsible for completing paperwork for safety program.

Basic Qualifications:

Must possess leadership supervisory and people skills with a minimal of 2 - 3 years of on-the-job supervisory experience.
Must possess a minimum of 5 years construction millwright and/or industrial maintenance experience.
Must possess knowledge in hand and power tools.
Must be willing to lift 100 pounds.
Must be willing to bends stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
Must be willing to climb and work at heights up to 200 feet.
Must be willing and able to ride a man lift and personnel elevators.
Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time. (Heat cold humidity rain etc.)
Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must possess basic math skills and read a tape measure.
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
Must have organizational skills
Must be available for call outs and responds within 45 minutes (primarily during harvest)
Must be willing to travel out of town for extended periods of time.
Must be at least 21 years of age have a valid drivers’ license and a good driving record.
Must possess skills in cutting welding and operating machinery such as forklifts sky tracks and boom truck.
Knowledge of helping with outside contractors in job assignments and to ensure Producers best interest are maintained.
Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Preferred:
General electrical experience preferred.
Commercial Driver’s License preferred.
