Were looking for an ambitious data-driven Head of Commercial to own growth for Taxmate a Bulgarian-built SaaS platform helping accountants and small businesses streamline their workflows.
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role youll drive user acquisition build relationships with accounting firms manage marketing efforts and lay the foundation for future growth. Youll work directly with the Founder to shape strategy implement reporting and build a scalable commercial engine.
Tasks
The Head of Commercial / Commercial Lead will own the entire revenue engine for Taxmate in Bulgaria from sales execution and partnerships to commercial strategy and reporting. This role blends hands-on commercial delivery with strategic ownership of market growth making it ideal for someone who combines startup execution skills with structured data-driven thinking.
Youll be the founders go-to partner for everything commercial: closing deals building distribution channels coordinating marketing partners and making sure the growth engine runs on clean data and repeatable processes.
- Drive acquisition of 500 paying SMB customers and onboard 30 accounting firms as active users.
- Lead commercial execution across sales outreach events and partnerships.
- Coordinate with external marketing partners to align campaigns with product goals.
- Build and maintain commercial dashboards (CAC payback conversion churn).
- Act as the voice of the customer sharing feedback with the product and marketing teams.
- Operate as the Founders commercial sparring partner owning revenue performance and growth planning.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales or commercial leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ownership of revenue and P&L performance in a digital or tech business.
- Strong skills in outbound sales pipeline management and CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot Pipedrive).
- Experience managing external marketing partners and interpreting performance data.
- Familiarity with accounting or finance workflows (able to speak credibly with accountants).
- Highly analytical able to translate CAC payback and margin data into actionable strategy.
- Bulgarian speaker with deep understanding of the local business environment.
