Duration: 7 Months (Projected Start: 12/15/2025)
Hours: Full-time Day Shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Position Overview We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Information Technology Division. This role is responsible for designing intuitive visually engaging and user-centered interfaces for web applications. The ideal candidate will combine creativity user empathy and analytical thinking to deliver experiences that are both functional and aesthetically appealing.
Key Responsibilities - Design exceptional user experiences through visually compelling interfaces.
- Collaborate with BI developers to create effective dashboards and reports.
- Develop wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma Adobe XD or Sketch.
- Conduct user research and usability testing; iterate designs based on feedback.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Maintain design systems style guides and reusable UI components.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions.
- Advocate for user needs throughout the design and development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
- Mentor team members on design best practices.
Required Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction Interaction Design Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of experience in UI/UX design for web or digital products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and accessibility best practices.
- Proficiency in Figma Adobe XD Sketch and Photoshop.
- Experience with user research usability testing and iterative design.
- Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 standards.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
- Ability to translate design concepts into responsive front-end code (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Familiarity with MVC Razor and/or Blazor.
Required Skills - GitHub portfolio link on resume.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Minimum 4 years as a UI/UX designer.
