UNIT DETAILS: Diagnoses include but not limited to - Mastectomies Plastics Urology General Surgery Ortho-Cervical/Spinal GI Ortho- Hip/Foot Cardiology- revasc pericardial windows VATS Ablations watchman devices GYN ECTs & Bronchoscopy No CABGs some ICU recovery - Not a 24/hr PACU WEEKEND: Included in call requirements CALL REQUIREMENTS: 1-2 days per week for maximum 12 call days in 6 week period. Includes up to 4 weekend days in 6 week schedule. FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule RTO: MAX 7 days HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
