Decommission Technician

Client believe in providing second chances and consider qualified applicants with prior histories consistent with all applicable federal state and local laws.

• Disassemble decommissioned power distribution units using basic hand and pneumatic tools

• Salvage metals and reusable parts from retired equipment

• Properly handle and dispose of oils solvents and other liquid compounds

• Move units along conveyor systems from in-processing to decommissioning areas

• Operate forklifts overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment as required

• Maintain responsibility for tools and equipment within assigned work areas

• Collaborate closely with team members in a shop-floor environment

• Work overtime or respond to call-ins as needed

• Honest dependable and safety-minded

• Physically able to perform heavy labor (lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently)

• Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments

• Proficient in using hand tools gauges and test equipment

• Self-motivated with the ability to complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently

• Valid U.S. drivers license preferred
