Job Summary

Role: COBOL development with MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL

Location: Blythewood SC - 100% on-site

W2 Only!! No C2C

Interview Process: 2 rounds In-person preferred/will consider Teams as well

Duration of the Contract: 12 months

Possibility for Extension: Yes

Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate/commute to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

MUST have qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related discipline with eight years of experience. Ten-years of experience without bachelors degree acceptable.
8 to 10 years of full stack system development in a complex and mission critical three-tier system development environment spanning Web/Mobile Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Strong DevSecOps skills and familiarity including formal release management processes comprehensive testing (not just Happy Path) and strong collaboration and coaching skills.
COBOL development with MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL using Visual Studio 2019/2022 in Windows Server 2022 under IIS. (MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL V7 V9 or higher strongly preferred)
Application programming against RDBMS (Oracle MS SQL Server).

Microsoft C# .NET
SQL for Oracle DB and MS SQL Server
IIS configuration/setup
MicroFocus certifications
DevSecOps certifications
