Quick role summaryYoull help deploy tune and operate endpoint protection across company laptops/servers (AV/EDR) run vulnerability scans keep an accurate device inventory investigate endpoint alerts and work with IT teams to remediate issues. The role is hands-on and focused on prevention detection and response at the endpoint level.
Key responsibilities (short)- Deploy configure and manage enterprise AV/EDR agents and policies.
- Run vulnerability scans track remediation and maintain dashboards.
- Use CAASM/asset discovery to keep an accurate inventory and prioritize risk.
- Investigate endpoint alerts and incidents using a SIEM (e.g. Splunk); perform root-cause analysis.
- Create/enforce endpoint security policies and automate repetitive tasks.
- 3 years in cybersecurity or endpoint security engineering.
- Hands-on with at least one EDR/AV: CrowdStrike SentinelOne Microsoft Defender (MDE) or equivalent.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning/management tools: Tenable Qualys or similar.
- Experience using a SIEM (Splunk or equivalent) for investigations.
- Familiar with Windows macOS and Linux endpoints.
- Strong troubleshooting written documentation and communication skills.
- Able to work on-site in New York (worksite: 4 Irving Place).
- Scripting/automation: PowerShell Python.
- Certifications: CISSP CEH CompTIA Security.
- Prior CAASM exposure or experience with asset discovery platforms.
