Job Description Summary

We are seeking for a skilled Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract with a strong potential for full-time hire upon successful completion. This role supports outpatient mammography services in a high-quality diagnostic environment performing screening studies with Hologic 3D systems. The assignment requires a reliable and seasoned technologist with 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Local and non-local candidates are accepted at the same rate; non-locals must confirm willingness to relocate permanently if offered a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Perform screening mammograms in accordance with ACR MQSA and clinic protocols.
Operate Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX (preferred) imaging equipment.
Ensure accurate patient identification exam verification and documentation in Epic.
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and quality control procedures.
Provide excellent patient care and customer service in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure optimal clinical workflow.
May occasionally float to Canyon Park Clinic based on operational needs.
Comply with department productivity standards and maintain exam room readiness.

Key Requirements

MUST have 1 year of recent Mammography experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
Ability to work Monday Friday with no weekends no on-call.
Willingness to float between clinics within scope.
Must have reliable personal transportation (public transportation not accepted).
No major RTO; restrictions must be confirmed with hiring manager.
Must be open to TEMP TO HIRE consideration.
Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per pay period.

Qualifications Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Mammography program.

Experience

Required: Minimum 1 year Mammography experience in an adult outpatient clinic.
Preferred: Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment.
First-time travelers accepted.

License

ARRT (R) Required
ARRT (M) Required
BLS (AHA) Required
State of Washington Radiologic Technologist License Required at time of signing (no pending licenses)

Skills

Proficiency with Hologic 3D systems (preferred)
Familiarity with Hologic Affirm BX biopsy unit (preferred)
Epic charting experience
Strong interpersonal patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a busy outpatient setting
