Locations: Newton Hickory Wilmington Concord Midland NC

Tekberry is proactively recruiting Engineers and Technical Specialists for multiple upcoming contract openings with our client a world-class manufacturing and technology leader in North Carolina. These positions support projects across automation mechanical design and process improvement in advanced manufacturing environments.

Mechanical Engineer II III
Controls / PLC Engineer
Automation Engineer
Manufacturing / Process Engineer
Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design test and implement mechanical or controls systems to support production operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new equipment and systems.
Support equipment installation commissioning and troubleshooting.
Optimize system performance and reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Maintain documentation drawings and technical reports in compliance with engineering standards.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related Engineering discipline.
3 8 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Hands-on exposure to PLCs automation robotics or process controls.
Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication analytical and project management skills.

Preferred

Familiarity with ISA-95 standards machine commissioning and HMI integration.
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Willingness to travel between nearby NC sites as needed (typically < 25%).
